Climate Migration Joy Storytelling Circle
We led a Climate Migration Storytelling Circle to build community, knowledge, and joy through a nature walk and storytelling in an intergenerational setting.
We will soon release the activity, so it can be used by others in their work!

Collaboration
We collaborated with A Faith in Place and Monarch Palooza in order to support and inform current efforts and ensure we could advance equitable engagement This collaboration also helped advance the local narrative on climate migration through the participation of various partners.

Intergenerational Storytelling
We created an intergenerational space to facilitate community building and connections to nature. Participants discussed and celebrated their local and Indigenous knowledge, monarch symbolism for DACA recipients, and nature across borders.

Equitable Engagement
We planned equitable engagement that would reduce barriers to participation. We collaborated with local organizations, so their communities would participate. We offered gift cards to thank participants for their time. We also planned for snacks and childcare, so everyone could feel comfortable and participate.
